About

As you see in my portfolio, I’m an artist who works across multiple mediums. I am currently attending Accademia del Lusso, a fashion design school in Milan, Italy. My portfolio includes school fashion projects, as well as samples of other projects and art pieces I have completed. I have been drawing and painting all my life. I am also experimenting with photography and have posted a collection of pictures that captures my generation – one that has grown up in the digital age with editing and filters – unfiltered and real using my 35 mm camera and film.

A common theme in much of my work is renewal. I’m interested in renewable fashion and art, in celebrating natural fabrics, nature and people in their natural habitats. When COVID-19 hit, I was forced to come back to Tucson from Milan. I took that opportunity to create masks for anyone who needed one. I purchased muslin fabric and dyed the fabric using turmeric, blackberries and blueberries to create unique designs. I embellished some of the masks with appliques and decorations I had on hand. When elastic became scarce, I harvested strips from fitted sheets my family no longer used. I distributed about 60 hand-dyed, hand-sewn masks in my first month home.

When I am not working on school projects, my latest endeavor is making new fashion designs using clothing that is no longer being worn. Essentially, giving old styles new life. My goal is to make high fashion clothing that is cutting-edge, flattering and easy to wear for women of all sizes.

I hope you enjoy my work and that you will visit my website frequently to see what is coming next. Also, I am always interested in pursuing collaborations. If you think we might be able to create something together, please reach out.
