hi! I’m Anna Louise Valenzuela, an artist and graphic designer based in Tucson, Arizona. My recent work centers on watercolor painting and digital design, creating graphics for both social media and print. I studied Fashion Design at Accademia del Lusso in Milan, where I concentrated on textile design, marketing, and visual communication, an experience that continues to shape the way I approach color, composition, and storytelling in my work.

in school, I quickly picked up design software, and combined with my lifelong background in art, that naturally led me into graphic design and digital art. Along the way, I realized I have a genuine affinity for learning about history and brand identities. I really connected with the process of developing and communicating brand identities and how to express that visually in a meaningful way.

Now, as Graphic Design Manager at Hotel Congress, I’ve continued to refine that skill set. My role has allowed me to work across a wide range of artistic styles and organizational identities, creating on-brand, engaging, and impactful visuals. I take pride in staying current with trends and evolving techniques across the design world, and I’m intentional about applying that awareness thoughtfully in my work.

I have been drawing and painting all my life. It’s my passion and creating is what brings me the most joy. I am dedicated to watercolor as a medium as I have so much respect for the delicacy, intention and focus it requires to create a precise piece and fully execute a vision. Over the past few years, I’ve devoted myself to refining my craft and deepening my relationship with the work.

I’m most inspired by themes rooted in nature and femininity. To me, the two are deeply intertwined. There’s something inherently feminine about the whimsical, beautiful qualities of the natural world. I’m especially drawn to that mystical and spiritual side of nature.

In my work, I like to weave together flora, fauna, and divine feminine figures, blending them with abstract elements to create dreamlike and surreal compositions. It’s a way for me to explore beauty, symbolism, and concepts I’m curious about, like interconnectivity, reincarnation, and intuition, karma, & sacred geometry.
